Amanda Tapp

I am a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with Bachelor of Science with focuses in elementary education and psychology. I worked in special education for seven years… an elementary special education teacher for five of those years. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals of all ages and many different diagnosis. Many times, I helped parents implement schedules and behavior plans that helped their children increase academic performance and increase their social skills which allowed the children to become more successful in social and academic settings.

I really do enjoy working alongside parents and educators to help their learners find their “super powers” and increase their self-esteem. Now that I’m a mom of two littles, I work from home teaching ESL. I was led to begin this resource website because I am passionate about supporting families of special learners and want to help make life a little easier for you.
